this is transformers related ok—specifically thundercracker related because i’m ANGRY and this is such a nothingburger but i need to get my thoughts out
okay if you call Thundercracker “Goonercracker” i need you to stay 10 feet away from me thank you.
i hate IDW Thundercracker and the ATROCITIES it did to his other continuities. Oh, cool, Thundercracker is visibly attracted to Marissa—that’s fine, that’s cool !! But not every continuity of Thundercracker is and most importantly none of them are GOONERCRACKER.
hi i’m a big fan of thundercracker and i don’t mind the IDW version of him (although i do hate the screenplay writer Thundercracker they made but it’s wtv) but i hate how it’s treated as his only version, and the stupid jokes that came with it. it’s honestly pretty annoying seeing a post tagged “Goonercracker” when it has nothing to do with IDW comics. It’s like Thundercracker IS always going to be seen as that and it’s like ??? What the fuck. Plus that piece of art where he’s “thirsting” isn’t necessarily official—his “fanfiction” is, sure, but it’s not anything remotely “gooner-esque,” it’s mainly yearning for Marissa. (And their relationship is one sided unfortunately. I honestly think it should stay one-sided—no hate to anyone who likes them as a couple !! Just not my cup of tea).
Repeat after me, G1 cartoon Thundercracker is NOT IDW Thundercracker, thank youuu.
